Top 5 Most Popular National Parks in Thailand During Songkran 2025

This Songkran, “nature” became the top destination for travelers across Thailand!
The Department of National Parks reported an impressive figure: nearly 580,000 people visited national parks across the country over the five-day holiday (April 12–16, 2025), generating more than 35.8 million baht in revenue.
Among these, five national parks stood out as the most popular destinations for Songkran revelers.

  1. Tat Ton National Park took the top spot, welcoming 32,892 visitors.
  2. Khao Yai National Park ranked second, with 29,186 visitors.
  3. Hat Noppharat Thara–Mu Ko Phi Phi National Park saw 29,109 visitors.
  4. Khao Laem Ya–Mu Ko Samet National Park hosted 27,208 visitors.
  5. Khlong Lan National Park rounded out the top five, with 23,119 visitors.

Each of these parks is renowned for its stunning natural beauty and diverse activities—
from waterfalls and lush mountain scenery to world-class beaches and scenic hiking trails.
April 14 was the busiest day, with 177,000 visitors recorded across all parks.
Authorities ensured that staff members were on hand at every location to provide guidance, maintain safety,
and assist both Thai and international tourists throughout their visits.
