Single Journey project season 2

The Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) has collaborated with Tinder and Drive Digital Co., Ltd., to introduce "Single Journey Season 2," a project promoting solo travel. This initiative encourages travelers to journey alone but not feel lonely. To promote domestic tourism, two events are scheduled in April.

This project comes from the Single Journey project #Don'tjokewithloneliness in 2020, which addressed the issue of loneliness in 2020. With changing trends in tourism, more tourists are choosing to travel alone. Solo travelers enjoy exploring new places and meeting new people, often creating meaningful friendships and unforgettable experiences.

In 2023, traveling will serve as a means of fostering friendships and promoting the Circular Economy. This event will utilize both online marketing and on-ground events to encourage tourism. Tourists will enjoy various travel styles and have the opportunity to discuss their safe tourism experiences.

This season, TAT has broadened its tourist base to include solo travelers and individuals seeking new travel experiences, such as adventure travel, food, and music. There will be two pilot activities in April 2023 for these types of travelers.

Activity 1: Mark your calendars for 7-9 April, because the "Babe Fest: The Best of the Meat Festival" is happening at Sermsuk Warehouse in Bangkok! With over 50 renowned meat-serving restaurants in attendance, singles and meat lovers alike won't want to miss out on this event. Attendees can also enjoy live performances by Violette Wautier, Numcha, and Yokee Playboy. Plus, you'll have the chance to win fantastic prizes, such as travel vouchers, Tinder Gold memberships, TOT (Tourist Organization of Thailand) booklet package memberships, and an unlimited entrance ticket worth 200 baht. Tickets are available for purchase via the Line's Official Account: @babefest.

Activity 2: "Single route on the beach, Pattaya, the city of love." Let’s chill out on the beach at The Oxygen Pattaya, Chonburi, and listen to Earth Patravee's concert on 29 April. The ticket price is 299 baht, and there are only 300 seats. You can buy tickets via Line Official Account: @singlejourney from today (28 March) onward.
