Required documents and fees for issuing certificates for rice export to the European Union and United Kingdom (EC Rice)

     To issue a certificate for rice export to the European Union and United Kingdom (EC Rice), the following documents are required:

  1. Export-Import Card or the Identification Card of the Authorized Person (Original 1 copy): This card is issued by the Department of Foreign Trade and is used to log in to the system with the code at the back of the card. In case of requesting the documents in person, please present the Authorized Person's card at the counter.
  2. Receipt of Payment for Special Export Fee to the European Union (Copy 1 copy): This document is issued by the Treasury Department, Department of Foreign Trade. Please scan this in a PDF format not exceeding 3 MB, and attach it with the application in the system.

     Regarding the special fee for exporting rice to the European Union and United Kingdom (EC Rice), it is divided into two cases, exporting rice to the European Union and exporting rice to the United Kingdom, as follows:

  1. Special Fee for Exporting Rice to the European Union
    Details: A fee of 1,500 THB per ton for exports to the European Union.
    Payment Method: Payment can be made at the Treasury Department on the 6th floor of the Department of Foreign Trade.
    Fee: 1,500 THB
  2. Special Fee for Exporting Rice to the United Kingdom
    Details: A fee of 1,200 THB per ton for exports to the United Kingdom, except for broken rice under the heading 1006.40.
    Payment Method: Payment can be made at the Treasury Department on the 6th floor of the Department of Foreign Trade.
    Fee: 1,200 THB
