Being a Good Host: Stimulating Tourism "Amazing Thailand, Travel Confidently with Grab"

     The Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) has teamed up with Grab Thailand to launch the campaign "Amazing Thailand, Travel Confidently with Grab", which aims to promote and stimulate the country's tourism economy. The campaign offers enhanced travel experiences for both Thai and foreign tourists and prepares Grab's partner drivers to serve as excellent hosts to welcome visitors. It also provides travel discounts and organizes online activities for everyone to share their travel experiences and stand a chance to win various grand prizes.

The "Amazing Thailand, Travel Confidently with Grab" campaign consists of three special activities:

1. The creation of the "Grab&Go" guidebook in English and Chinese, which consolidates tourist attractions, restaurants, festivals, and interesting activities in the four major tourist cities: Bangkok, Pattaya, Chiang Mai, and Phuket. This guidebook, which no traveler should miss, is provided to foreign tourists and can also be accessed online at www.grab.com/th/campaign/Travel-guidebook-2023/.
2. Development of an online training course for Grab's partner drivers on the topic of "Being a Good Host". The course is hosted on GrabAcademy and aims to equip the partner drivers (including GrabCar and GrabTaxi drivers) with knowledge and advice on serving tourists as the first line of contact and providing basic guidance on tourist attractions.
3. The #TravelConfidentlyWithGrab contest, which gives participants the chance to win a trip to Phuket and other major prizes, along with offering travel discounts of up to 15% for sharing photos of their travel experiences in Thailand with Grab, using the hashtag #TravelConfidentlyWithGrab on GrabThailand's Facebook page. This activity runs from June 5 to June 30, 2023.

     In addition, the campaign provides a discount of up to 100 baht for services like JustGrab, GrabCar, and Grab Electric VIP Taxi by using the code "NEWTravel" for new users, and a discount of up to 80 baht with the code "TRAVEL" for existing users. Plus, get an additional 15% discount for GrabFood and GrabMart services after using car booking services from today until July 15, 2023.
