     The tourist season at Chong Lom Mountain in Nakhon Nayok Province opens, revealing the hidden beauty beneath the water. From June to September, the water level in Khun Dan Prakarn Chon Dam, Nakhon Nayok, decreases, revealing the beauty of Chong Lom Mountain and other points within the dam that have been submerged. From grasslands, streams, to rock formations, it becomes another popular tourist destination near Bangkok, where many can drive and experience this natural atmosphere.

     Chong Lom Mountain, located in Khun Dan Prakarn Chon Dam, is characterized as a small mountainous region behind the ridge of Khun Dan Dam, part of the same forest as Khao Yai National Park. At this time, the water level in Khun Dan Dam is low, and the rain makes the grass fields lush, revealing the hidden beauty of Chong Lom Mountain.

     The uniqueness of Chong Lom Mountain is its different beauty in each season, be it summer, rainy, or winter. If you want to canoe closer to the Chong Lom waterfall, it is recommended to go during November or the end of the rainy season and the beginning of winter because it's the period when the water level is high, decreasing the walking distance, but you might have to sacrifice the chance to take beautiful photos along the way.

     As for the Chong Lom waterfall, it is a renowned tourist spot in Nakhon Nayok Province, a conservation-oriented destination that has gained immense popularity. Its outstanding features include natural mountains interspersed with streams passing through mountain gorges and large and small rocks. This place is full of lush green nature, and if you are lucky, you will encounter flocks of butterflies fluttering around the natural source.

     To get to Chong Lom Mountain in Nakhon Nayok Province, you need to take a boat, which takes about 15 – 20 minutes. Boats can be contacted at the entrance to the dam ridge. The boat tour will visit a total of three points: Pha Ngam Ngon Waterfall, Khlong Kram Waterfall, and Chong Lom Waterfall, which is the highlight.

     For those interested in visiting Chong Lom Mountain, you can take a boat at Khun Dan Prakarn Dam. There are boats available for tourists, starting from 08.00 – 17.00. The cost for chartering a boat for 1 – 7 tourists is approximately 1,500 Baht. If there are more than 7 tourists, the price is 200 Baht per person.
