Embrace Cultural Diversity at the “World Puppet Festival 2024” This November 13–17 at the NSM

Get ready for the "World Puppet Festival 2024" or the Harmony World Puppet Innovation Festival 2024, to be held from November 13–17, 2024, at the National Science Museum (NSM) in Pathum Thani. This year’s festival theme, “PUPPET MAKER,” will introduce visitors to a new world of puppet artistry and innovation.

This exciting five-day event will feature exhibitions in each of the NSM’s museums, with puppet shows related to science, information technology, and natural knowledge, offering both educational and enjoyable experiences for all.

Visitors can enjoy international puppet performances from over 10 countries, including Japan, Australia, Mexico, and Thailand. Among the highlights are the Thai shadow puppets from Ban Don Temple and an opera performance entitled The Story of the Long-Gone Animals by Mahidol University’s College of Music. Other impressive performances include the traditional Skybird Puppet from Hong Kong and My Cloud from Singapore, inviting viewers on a journey of creative freedom.

The event also includes exhibitions and activities like the “Life in Light and Shadow” exhibition and shadow puppet workshops, which are suitable for all ages, especially for children to develop creativity and teamwork skills.

Join us for an unforgettable year-end experience at the World Puppet Festival 2024, where imagination and knowledge combine in an atmosphere of fun and discovery.
