Traffic Arrangements Around the Queen Sirikit National Convention Center on 16 October 2026 

To enhance security and facilitate the smooth conduct of the high-level 2026 IMF–World Bank Group Annual Meetings, traffic arrangements around the Queen Sirikit National Convention Center on 16 October 2026 will be as follows: 

• Road closures:  
- Ratchadaphisek Road: Both directions will be closed between Asok Montri Intersection and Rama IV Intersection. 
- Ploenchit Road (Outbound): Closed between Ploenchit Intersection and Nana Intersection from 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM. 

• Bus services: 
- Routes 2, 40, 48, 501, 508, and other routes may be diverted. Please check the latest updates via official Facebook : 1197Callcenter or X : @Traffic_1197V2 

• MRT Queen Sirikit National Convention Centre Station:
- Closed from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM.   

• Access to the Area: 
- Residents and employees working in the affected area may enter and exit as usual. 
- Meeting participants with valid badges and vehicles with authorized placards may access designated areas through specified checkpoints. 
- Private cars and taxis may drop off and pick up meeting participants only at designated passenger drop-off and pick-up points outside the security perimeter.
