The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Royal Thai Embassies are continuing a global diplomatic campaign to provide accurate information on the Thai-Cambodian border situation. Thai ambassadors have been meeting with senior officials in several countries to present evidence and clarify Thailand's position.
In France, the Thai ambassador briefed the Director-General for Asia, stressing that Cambodia initiated attacks on civilians and that Thailand’s response was a restrained, self-defensive action limited to military targets. In a similar meeting in Sweden, the Thai ambassador clarified the use of Gripen aircraft on precise military targets and highlighted Cambodia's ceasefire violations.
Significantly, the Swedish side confirmed that the sale of Gripen aircraft to Thailand has not been suspended, debunking false reports on the matter. Thai diplomats in Italy also briefed their counterparts on ceasefire violations. Additionally, Thai embassies in Singapore, Indonesia, and Kuwait have been actively contacting local news agencies to correct inaccurate reports and provide factual evidence about the conflict, urging them to verify information to ensure proper reporting.
