Summary of Three Measures at the Event “Integrating Food Networks Towards Balanced Consumption with a Sustainable Food System”

In a conference hosted by the Thai Health Promotion Foundation (ThaiHealth) and partnering networks to address long-term food crisis solutions, three key measures were introduced for fostering food security and promoting balanced and sustainable consumption—the core of a better future food system.

  1. Enhancing Food Security and Safe Food Production : Emphasizes quality and safety from production to consumption.
  2. Creating Safe Food Systems and Equitable Distribution : Supports small farmers and small-scale food producers to ensure fair and equal distribution.
  3. Promoting Nutritional Food Consumption : Educates the public on proper nutrition, reducing the intake of high-sugar, fat, and sodium foods.

This integrated food network initiative focuses on building a sustainable, safe food system that reduces inequalities and ensures that all citizens have access to quality food for a healthier future.
