Lamphun Salak Yom Festival 2026

A centuries-old Lanna tradition recognized as a world-exclusive event, featuring grandly decorated, 12-meter-tall Salak Yom trees presented as religious offerings to reflect community unity and local wisdom.

Event Highlights:

• Grand Parades: Day and night Salak Yom tree processions starting at Pratu Li Intersection and ending at Wat Phra That Hariphunchai.
• Competition: A contest judging 12-meter-tall decorated Salak Yom trees.
