The Friends in Need (of “PA”) Volunteers Foundation delivered meals and relief supplies to flood-hit communities in Nan Municipality on August 20 as high water left some residents stranded in their homes.

On Nor Kham Road along the Nan River, water reached between 1 and 1.7 meters, preventing several households from leaving safely. Foundation teams transported ready-to-eat meals directly to residents in the inundated area.

Mano Road and areas near Satri Si Nan School also experienced flooding of about 40–60 centimeters, exceeding one meter in some locations. Several roads were inaccessible to small vehicles.

Relief teams used boats and high-clearance vehicles to reach isolated households and distribute supplies as flooding continued to disrupt transportation across parts of the municipality.
