BMA is the first public sector organisation in Thailand and across the Asia-Pacific region to join UNDP’s Gender Seal programme, which assesses how organisations promote gender equality. It is also the first in Thailand and the Asia-Pacific to achieve the Gold certification.

BMA joined the UNDP Gender Seal programme in August 2023 and underwent a comprehensive assessment—from public service delivery to policies, practices, and organisational culture. Achieving Gold marks an important milestone and serves as both inspiration and a practical model for public sector organisations across the Asia-Pacific to advance gender equality.
