Kaeng Hin Phoeng is a large rock rapids in the middle of the Sai Yai River in Na Di District, Prachin Buri Province. Kaeng Hin Phoeng is most beautiful during the flood season around July-November. The rainy season is the best time for traveling at Kaeng Hin Phoeng. There are a lot of tourists coming to play in the water at various rapids. For adrenaline lovers, it is also popular to take rafting from Kaeng Hin Phoeng down to Khao Yai National Park Protection Unit 9.
Rafting at Hin Phoeng is therefore another popular tourist activity in the rainy season because of the current flowing that brings the rubber boat against the rocks, causing a whirlpool. Therefore, rafting leaders must be skilled and skilled in paddling and must be especially careful. Kaeng Hin Phoeng looks like a terrace of broken rocks, slipping down to form a whirlpool and very rapid, requiring extreme skill and skill in paddling.
From the starting point above Kaeng Hin Phoeng, you will pass Kaeng Wang Bon. In this area, there are two rocks blocking the current, causing the current to come together in a V shape. When passing through Kaeng Wang Bon, the current flows backwards in this direction so that the boat can be rested. Next is Kaeng Luk Suea, which is just as fun and exciting as Kaeng Hin Phoeng. Passing through this point, you will reach Kaeng Wang Sai and Kaeng Ngu Hao, which are the last rapids of rafting. Kaeng Wang Sai looks like a big wave that rolls up in a circle. I have to say that this rapid is very exciting and will end up at Kaeng Ngu Hao as the last rapid.
