Tourists traveling to Thailand in case of unsafety, damage, or loss in either normal or critical situations without being caused by negligence, intention, or illegal act which Thailand requires a Foreign Tourists Assistance Fund as well to build confidence and set the following criteria and conditions.
1. Experiencing riots and terrorism
2. Suffer from a natural disaster
3. Assaulted
4. Raped
5. Accident
6. Travel interruption
7. Suffering due to assault on property
8. Crimes or other perils as determined by the Board
The power to consider the payment of compensation for tourists rests with “Committee of Foreign Tourists Assistance Fund Management Committee”. When a traveler or their representative submits a request for remedial relief with supporting documentation, the International Tourist Aid Fund’s director must designate a subcommittee, which the Executive Committee of the fund will appoint, to screen the case before presenting it to the board of directors within seven working days of receiving all supporting documentation.
