Measures for the safety of life and property
      Life and property safety in destination countries for tourists is one of the most important travel decisions for travelers.

In Thailand, the safety of tourists is important; therefore, the following measures regarding the safety of life and property have been announced:

1. Organize projects for public relations and tourism warnings to provide travel warning information and advice on preventing dangers. There are public relations channels for complaints and giving information about helping foreign tourists to build confidence and good attitudes toward tourism among Thai and foreign tourists;
2. Organize tourism personnel development activities to create tourism safety standards, such as hotel operators, hotel staff, and security guards. Tourism staff should be trained in observing and identifying suspicious persons, assessing threat situations, and managing a crisis, and networks should be created for integrating collaboration between the public and private sectors;
3. Organize training workshops on tourism safety to build knowledge and understanding of basic first aid skills and basic life support for business operators and tourism entrepreneurs. It can develop and promote the quality of tourism and raise the standards.

The Ministry of Tourism and Sports has announced several measures for safety in life and property for tourists:

1. Establish the Tourist Assistance Center (TAC);
2. Establish the Tourist Compensation Fund;
3. Establish the Tourist Division Court in the courts of justice;
4. Organize volunteer training workshops to help marine tourists (life guards);
5. Organize tourist campaigns for safe driving during the tourist season.
