Application procedures for certification and request to use the Green Industry logo

     Green industries adhere to continuous improvement of production processes and environmental management for environmentally friendly operations, as well as adhering to corporate social responsibility, both internally and externally, throughout the supply chain for sustainable development.

The process of applying for certification and a request to use the Green Industry logo can be done as follows.

1. Entrepreneur submits an application along with documents;

2. Receive application;

3. Register candidate;

4. Committee checks the supporting documents for consideration. If the criteria are not met, amendments will be recommended;

5. Consideration for accreditation according to the criteria;

6. Preparation of a certificate submitted to the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Industry to sign;

7. Register and publish the list of accredited candidates.


     The Provincial Industrial Office, Central Provincial Industrial Office will consider the certification based on the documents submitted with the application for certification levels 1-3. At levels 4 and 5, the Subcommittee for Certification Consideration is the body that considers the certification by assessing the establishment, and the Central Provincial Industrial Office is the body that prepares the Green Industry certificate, based on the received level, ready to be published on the website www.industry.go.th or www.greenindustrythailand.com.


Candidate Qualifications

1. Being a juristic person or a person who has obtained a license to operate a factory, a mining license holder, or a business;

2. Has been registered as a trader in the business of industry or mining;

3. Must not be a person whose Green Industry certification has been revoked, except for the past 6 months;

4. Must operate in accordance with relevant laws.


Certificate Period for Each Level

  • Green Industry Certificate Level 1, valid for 1 year;
  • Green Industry Certificate Level 2, valid for 2 years;
  • Green Industry Certificate Level 3, Level 4, and Level 5, valid for 3 years and are non-transferable.
