World Community including Thailand has a common intention to reduce greenhouse gas emissions

After the World Community including Thailand has a common intention to reduce greenhouse gas emissions to solve global warming problems at the 27th Conference of the Parties to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP 27) in the Arab Republic of Egypt, stating that they will continue to limit the increase in the global average temperature not to increase by more than 1.5-2 degrees Celsius within 2100 according to the Paris Agreement at the COP 21 Meeting (2015), from global guidelines to practice, Thailand's industrial sector has been implementing green industry projects since 2011. At present, there are 41,154 industrial factories that have entered the green industry system out of a total of 64,028 industrial factories.

The guidelines for entrepreneurs interested in becoming a green industry are as follows:
 - Level 1 Green Commitment is an environmental policy and communication dissemination with a certificate valid for 1 year.
 - Level 2 Green Activity is a policy and a plan for implementation with a certificate valid for 2 years
 - Level 3 Green System is an environmental policy planned to practice and followed up, including reviewing and maintaining the system with a certificate valid for 3 years
 - Level 4 Green Culture is a policy that meets Level 3 requirements but adds environmental culture and environmental performance reporting to the public with a certificate valid for 4 years.
 - Level 5 Green Network is a Level 4 compliance policy, but having work to build relationships across the entire supply chain, including producing and disseminating environmental reports with a certificate valid for 5 years.

For applying for green industry certification, it consists of the following:
1. Being a juristic person or a person who has obtained a license to operate a factory, a mining license holder, or a business that has been registered to operate a business in the industry or mining.

2. Not being a person whose green industry certification has been preciously revoked, except for more than 6 months.

3. Must operate in line with relevant laws.

However, the benefits that green factories will receive are positive images and attitudes toward environmentally friendly industries, resulting in better understanding and acceptance between individuals and surrounding communities, reducing resource and energy consumption, saving business costs, and creating competitive opportunities, etc.
