Applicants for import-export or transit licenses for wild aquatic animals must comply with the Wild Animal Conservation and Protection Act B.E. 2562 (2019) and submit the application (Sor Por 5 and Sor Por 6) through the Fisheries Single Window system. The FSW system is an electronic system for issuing licenses and certificates for importing and exporting wild aquatic animals. The criteria are as follows: 

1. The applicant completes the application form for license/ approval in the FSW system;
2. In the case that the office has doubts about the documents submitted, the considering officer may inform the applicant to ask for further clarification;
3. The applicant must have the authority to sign the acknowledgment for amending the application;
4. In the case of incomplete or incorrect application and certification or deficient supporting documents, the responsible office does not have to accept or consider the application until all related documents are complete and correct;
5. In the case that the application or supporting documents are incomplete or inaccurate and cannot be amended at the time, the officer who accepted the application and the applicant shall jointly sign the memo on document deficiency and a list of incomplete documents, as well as specifying the time for the applicant to take corrective action. If the applicant does not take corrective action within the specified period, it will be assumed that the applicant does not wish to apply for the license;
6. The time of applying for the certificate, according to the public handbook, starts from the moment the officer completely inspects the application or supporting documents specified in the handbook;
7. Importation of exotic species must be approved by the committee, if they are not applicable under these specified conditions and criteria;
8. In the case that the licensing is inspected by the partner country, these conditions and criteria will not be applied.

The period for applying for the import-export license Sor Por . 6 is three working days.

1. Inspecting the completeness of documents – 1 business day;
2. Preparing the Sor Por 5 license in the case of protected wild animals, breedable protected wild animals, and wild animals prescribed by the Ministry in Group 1 – 2 business days;
3. Inspecting the correctness of the license and related documents – 2 business days;
4. Signing/ approval by the committee – 1 business day.
