At the beginning of 2023, Thailand prepares to collect Thailand Traveller Fees for those traveling by land and water.
Thailand prepares to collect domestic travel fees for foreign tourists, or “Thailand Travelers Fees" for those traveling by air, land and water, starting in early 2023.
For details of collecting the travelers fee for those traveling by air can be summarized as follows:
- Foreign tourists entering Thailand by air must pay a fee of 300 per person per entry.
- Foreign tourists traveling from Lao People's Democratic Republic of the Union of Myanmar, Federation of Malaysia, and Kingdom of Cambodia, must pay a fee at the rate of 150 per person per time.
In this regard, the collection of fees shall be waived for the following individuals:
- Thai passport holders
- Border pass holders
- Babies and children under 2 years old
- Commercial vehicle operators ad staff
