Therefore, being prepared with the necessary documents and procedures for crossing the border will help make the process trouble-free. Let's examine the steps for verifying foreign nationals who have a place of residence in Thailand and who are seeking to enter the country:

  1. The officer will check the passport, the entry permit (Tor Mor 6), and the proof of residence;

  2. The officer will verify if the person matches the information on the passport;

  3. The officer will check the visa in the passport and the proof of residence, as well as check the endorsement;

  4. The officer will record the passport information and the entry permit number;

  5. The officer will record the passport information, entry permit number, proof of residence, and will write "In-country person" in the visa class field;

  6. The officer will return the passport and the proof of residence.

      Knowing the procedures for crossing the border into Thailand through the checkpoints, especially for those foreign nationals who have a place of residence in Thailand, will make the crossing easier and more comfortable.
