Application to stay in Thailand in the case of litigation or court proceedings

     If foreigners encounter unexpected events while traveling or doing business in Thailand, such as being robbed, scammed, physically assaulted, having a close relative murdered in Thailand, or committing a crime and are in the trial process, such foreigners must renew their visa to stay in the case for legal proceedings, with the requirements as follows:

Requirements 

     Evidence showing the person is involved in legal or court proceedings in connection with the case as the accuser, victim, accused, plaintiff, defendant, or witness.

Required documents

  1. TM.7 form;
  2. Copy of the applicant's passport;
  3. Confirmation letter from the investigating officer related to the case or a letter or official document confirming that he or she is involved in the case or legal proceeding.
