How to fill in the notification of foreigners’ residence (TM.30)

In the case of notifying in person or notifying via registered mail:

       The notification form for the “housemaster,” owner or possessor of the residence where foreigners reside (TM.30) consists of 2 documents (2 sheets). Part 1 is for the details of the owner and the location of the place where the foreigners reside. Part 2 is the list of foreigners.

        When filling in Part 2 of the TM.30 form, please complete all fields according to the information in the foreigner’s passport, as the details that have previously been filled in before entering the residence are often incorrect. Also, the form must be filled in by typing or writing. If it is in writing, please write it in BLOCK LETTERS and be careful when filling it out, as follows:

  1. Foreigner’s name: There must be a space between the first name, middle name, and last name;
  2. Passport number: If there is a letter in front of or behind the numbers, write it down;
  3. Arrival card number: Fill in the arrival card number (TM.6 card) attached to the passport;
  4. Passport number, or if there are letters, write down the letters;
  5. Arrival date means the date on which the foreigner enters Thailand. Regarding the date of arrival, fill in the front page of the notification of foreigners’ residence.

        The competent officer will check the information in the TM.30 form. Upon verification, if it is found that the information has been filled in correctly and completely, the competent officer will accept the notification and tear off the lower part of the TM.30 form for the notifying person to keep.
