Foreigners wishing to stay in Thailand for training or for conducting research in higher education or research institutions must follow the procedure below:
Requirements
1. They must hold a Non-Immigrant Visa;
2. The request must be approved and supported by the Dean of a higher education institution or from the head of the research institution;
3. In the case of teaching or researching in higher education institutions or private research institutes, they must be accredited and requested by relevant public agencies.
Required documents
1. TM.7 form;
2. Copy of the applicant's passport;
3. Confirmation letter from the Dean of a higher education institution or from the head of the research institution;
4. In the case under (3), a certificate for extension from related public agencies must be attached.
