On February 6, 2025, a significant step was taken in the collaboration between Thailand and China. The Ministry of Digital Economy and Society (DE) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with China's National Development and Reform Commission to promote cooperation in various aspects of artificial intelligence (AI). This includes infrastructure, technology, applications, security, and enhancing public knowledge.
Additionally, an agreement was signed between the DE Ministry and China Post to elevate and develop postal services between the two countries. The signing ceremony was witnessed by the prime ministers of both nations.
This agreement is part of a broader set of 14 Thailand-China agreements, demonstrating a commitment to strengthening ties and fostering cooperation in multiple areas for mutual benefit.
