MOPH launched the ALIVE BY VACHIRAPHUKET wellness center to support the health economy policy.

Thailand’s Ministry of Public Health has officially launched the “ALIVE by Vachiraphuket” wellness center, alongside inspecting public health services and awarding certificates to graduates of the first LIFE (Longevity) leadership program. The initiative aligns with the government’s “Health Economy” policy, aimed at strengthening Thailand’s position as a Medical & Wellness Hub. The strategy focuses on high-value medical services and wellness offerings such as massage, spa treatments, and elderly care to attract international visitors and drive economic growth, with Phuket playing a key role through its “Phuket Medical Hub” development.

Phuket has been advancing four flagship facilities under this initiative: the Medical Plaza for international healthcare services, Premium Long-Term Care for elderly residents, Hospice Home for palliative care, and a comprehensive Rehabilitation Center. Additional wellness services include premium health screening, longevity programs for working-age individuals, the Mai Khao World-Class Hub for integrated treatment and relaxation targeting international and high-end elderly clients, and a digital Wellness App Integration system that connects residents’ health data.

The newly launched ALIVE by Vachiraphuket center, based at Vachira Phuket Hospital, offers a holistic “Wellness & Transformation” approach that integrates advanced medical science, health innovation, and sustainable lifestyle practices. Its personalized programs emphasize prevention, recovery, and long-term quality of life under multidisciplinary medical supervision. Built on five core principles—Advanced care, Longevity, Inspiration, Vitality Enhancement, and Empowerment—the center provides services ranging from aesthetics and skin care to mental wellness, energy recovery, and premium personalized health check-ups, aiming to enhance well-being across physical, mental, and long-term life dimensions.
