The Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) partnered with TikTok to promote creator-powered tourism through the "TikTok LIVE Community Fest 2026." This event gathered more than 300 top live creators from Southeast Asia, the Caucasus, and Central Asia to experience and showcase Thailand to a global audience.
TAT Governor Thapanee Kiatphaibool stated that engaging the creator community aligns with current travel trends, as tourists increasingly choose destinations based on authentic digital content. TAT seeks to highlight Thailand's culture, attractions, cuisine, and modern lifestyle to a wider audience, turning digital inspiration into actual travel.
The festival, themed "Be Part of the Win," included a Team Rally along Bangkok's historic Song Wat Road. International creators explored local architecture, riverside culture, and cuisine, producing content for their audiences.
Teams competed for Thailand travel packages worth over 300,000 baht. The event also featured a meet-and-greet, regional awards in five categories, live performances, and concluded with a Victory Celebration Gala on August 25, 2026, at TRUE ICON HALL in ICONSIAM.
TAT expects this partnership to connect digital inspiration with real-world travel, encouraging international visitors to continue choosing Thailand as their destination.
