Unveiling the "Smile @Pattani": A Vibrant Celebration of Southern Charm and Resilience

The Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) has successfully hosted the "Smile @Pattani" festival from April 24–26, 2026, at the CS Pattani Hotel. This vibrant three-day celebration served as a powerful showcase of the southern border region’s hospitality and rich cultural heritage. By highlighting the area’s readiness to welcome travelers, the event reaffirmed Thailand’s position as a premier global destination that offers diverse and meaningful experiences. As a core part of the "Smile @South" campaign, the festival aimed to revitalize the local economy and restore visitor confidence following the challenges of late 2025, ensuring that every journey directly supports local livelihoods.

The festival grounds offered a true sensory delight, featuring authentic southern gastronomy and handcrafted OTOP masterpieces from Pattani, Yala, and Narathiwat. Visitors engaged directly with local artisans, witnessing the ancient traditions that make Thailand a global hub of creative culture. The atmosphere was further enriched by a blend of traditional Dikir Melayu performances and modern concerts by popular Thai artists, proving that the region is a safe, welcoming, and culturally dynamic destination. "Smile @Pattani" ultimately invites the world to experience the legendary "Amazing Thailand" spirit, where cultural treasures and community warmth create lasting memories for every traveler.
