The Extraordinary Session of the General Border Committee (GBC) Meeting between Thailand and Cambodia lasted over one hour, at the end of which both sides agreed on a common approach contained in the 13-point ceasefire implementation agreement, which was developed jointly by the Secretariats of both sides.
Following this, General Nattaphon Narkphanit, Deputy Minister of Defense and Acting Minister of Defence, and General Tea Seiha, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defence of Cambodia, signed agreed minutes, detailing the agreements reached over the past three days. The Meeting aimed to resolve the Thai-Cambodian border tensions, leading to peace and peaceful coexistence among the people of both countries, with Thailand underscoring the need for effective use of bilateral mechanisms for dialogue.
