The FDA is advancing the IGNITE Thailand policy to enhance consumer protection and promote Thailand's economy by positioning the country as a hub for medical and health industries. This initiative aims to propel Thai businesses onto the global stage through cross-sector collaboration.
This development encompasses strengthening capabilities in functional foods and medical devices, sectors that see consistent growth each year, with exports valued in the hundreds of billions of baht. The FDA has also developed the FDA One Platform, consolidating all services into a digital system, including e-Service, e-Submission, and e-Payment, to provide fast, transparent, and convenient services.
The FDA aims to build partnerships with both domestic and international networks to drive economic growth and create new value, with the hope that this cooperation will sustainably elevate Thailand’s standing in the global community.
