Thailand-South Korea Collaborate to Promote AI Technology Industry and Digital Business with MoU Between the Governments of Both Countries, NIA and National IT Industry Promotion Agency

Thailand and South Korea have jointly signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to develop innovation and promote digital business, with Thailand's National Innovation Agency (NIA) and South Korea's National IT Industry Promotion Agency (NIPA) representing the signing. The ceremony took place in the Republic of Korea and marks a significant step in supporting and driving the growth of startup businesses and AI technology between the two countries.


NIPA, which supports digital business and AI technology in South Korea, runs various projects to promote the growth of startups, such as the development of AI semiconductors that will play a crucial role in multiple industries, including smart monitoring, precision medicine, and smart factories. Additionally, NIPA has offices worldwide, including in Bangalore, Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, Silicon Valley, and Singapore. Visiting NIPA's XR Showroom also provides an opportunity to see the development of XR/Metaverse technology that can be applied in various fields, such as manufacturing, defense, nuclear fusion, and healthcare.


This collaboration is a significant step in promoting the rapidly growing technology industry and presents a great opportunity for startups to expand their markets and develop new technologies. The partnership between NIA and NIPA will lead to developing and implementing more effective AI technology, benefiting the economy and innovation on a global scale.
