Thailand Biennale Phuket 2025 Welcomes Visitors to a Five-Month Islandwide Art Experience

The Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) is inviting travellers to discover Thailand Biennale Phuket 2025, a five-month contemporary art festival running until April 2026. The event brings together creative works from around the world, showcased across Phuket’s historic districts, cultural sites, and scenic outdoor spaces.

Now in its fourth edition, the Biennale highlights Thailand’s expanding creative economy and reinforces Phuket’s role as a cultural destination. Under this year’s theme, “Eternal Kalpa”, visitors are encouraged to reflect on time, transformation, and the relationship between people and nature.

The festival features 65 artists and collectives from 25 countries, with artworks displayed at 19 venues across Mueang, Kathu, and Thalang districts. Locations include the former Pearl Theatre, Phuket Contemporary Art Gallery, community spaces, and outdoor sites such as Saphan Hin and Promthep Cape—all transformed to offer new perspectives on the island’s heritage and landscapes.

In addition to the main exhibition, visitors can explore 13 Sala created by Thai and international artist groups. These spaces, spread across Phuket, host additional installations, workshops, and community activities, each presenting unique interpretations of Phuket’s identity and natural environment.

Thailand Biennale Phuket 2025 aims to make contemporary art more accessible while supporting Phuket’s vision of becoming a sustainable, creative island city. The festival encourages visitors to engage with local architecture, culture, and communities in fresh and meaningful ways.
