n 2023, the Thai herb market generated revenue of 56,944 million baht, and this figure is projected to soar to 104,000 million baht by 2027. This growth reflects not only the quality and efficacy of Thai herbs but also the increasing consumer preference for natural products. This upward trend presents a significant opportunity to expand export markets worldwide.
The 21st National Herbal Expo, held from July 3-7, 2024, at IMPACT Muang Thong Thani, centered around the theme ‘Thai Massage, Thai Spa, Thai Herbs on the Global Stage. The expo was organized by the Ministry of Public Health to enhance market opportunities for Thai herbal products abroad. The event featured product exhibitions, conferences, traditional Thai medicine competitions, and demonstrations of Thai massage and spa services. Furthermore, export consultations provided an overview of the herbal market.
Thai herbs proudly compete in the global market, gaining acceptance from international consumers. The government remains committed to supporting the growth and flourishing of Thai herbs in the future.
