TAT showcases Thai wellness tourism at World Travel Market 2025 in London

The Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) has led a 50-member delegation of Thai tourism businesses to participate in the World Travel Market (WTM) 2025, held from November 4–6 at ExCeL London, one of the world’s largest travel trade exhibitions. This year’s presentation focuses on Thailand’s wellness tourism under the theme “Senses of Siam: A Journey to Total Well-being,” emphasizing holistic health experiences inspired by the five senses.

The participation aligns with the government’s “Big Impact, Act Fast” economic strategy to expand Thailand’s presence in high-value European markets. The initiative aims to attract long-stay, high-spending travellers, positioning Thailand as a global hub for quality tourism. The event also marks the launch of TAT’s new campaign, “Amazing Thailand: Unforgettable Experience – Healing is the New Luxury,” redefining luxury travel as a pursuit of inner peace and rejuvenation rather than material indulgence.

TAT anticipates over 1,500 business appointments during the three-day event, projected to generate 1.33 billion baht in tourism revenue. European arrivals to Thailand in 2025 are forecast to reach 8.4 million, a 15% increase from 2024, contributing around 510 billion baht in total revenue. For the high season between October and December 2025 alone, arrivals from Europe and Israel are expected to hit 2.75 million, generating 165 billion baht.
