Showcasing 10 Products of Local Knowledge and Wisdom in the EEC Area

Promoting local wisdom in the EEC area is  to open opportunities for valuable products and traditional knowledge, helping  increase community income and promote sustainable cultural tourism with 10 products that reflect the expertise and uniqueness of the area.

  1. Rose Oil Cultivation and Extraction
    A learning center for rose cultivation and oil extraction produces beverages and cosmetics. The fragrant  rose oil contains antioxidants that help relieve stress and reduce fat and blood sugar levels.

  2. Rice Milk Fermented Fabric, Klong Nam Hu Community
    Rice milk fermented fabric featuring the Phra Apai Mani and mermaid design is soft and fragrant, making it suitable for those with sensitive skin and bedridden patients.

  3. Tawa Yai Mom Flour, Mab Mo Community
    Flour extracted from Tawa Yai Mom roots is used to make traditional Thai desserts such as Rad Na, Tao Suan, Khanom Chan, and Khanom Piek Poon, for adding thickness and softness to the desserts.

  4. Tie-Dyed Clay Fabric, Koh Larn Community Group
    Using clay from Koh Larn for tie-dyeing fabric creates beautiful brick-orange fabric with beliefs in its protective Buddhist qualities.

  5. Mulberry Cultivation, Silkworm Rearing, and Silk Weaving, Ang Toei Community Group
    It is the source of high-quality silk fabric showcased at the Chitralada Palace, featuring pandanus thorn pattern silk branded “Sodlao”.

  6. Coconut Coffee, Takian Tia Community Tourism Enterprise
    Fresh coconut coffee is from Takian Tia village, where coconut is a main economic crop, creating a unique community product.

  7. Green Medicine, Lum Makham Community Enterprise
    Green medicine uses 63 types of herbs to prevent and treat various diseases such as COVID-19, fever, and chickenpox. They are cultivated and produced in agroforestry areas.

  8. Hair Color Changing Shampoo, Herbal Product Processing Group, Ban Tom
    The shampoo is made from local herbs developed in collaboration with the National Science and Technology Development Agency (NSTDA) to enhance product value and quality.

  9. Herbal Soap, Rai Community Enterprise 
    The soap is made from local herbs such as turmeric and aloe vera for natural skin care.

  10. Handwoven Fabric Jewelry, Ban Pa Daet Community Enterprise
    The jewelry is made from handwoven fabric combined with traditional weaving techniques, creating uniqueness and adding value to the products.


The valuable products and local wisdom from the EEC area not only reflect the expertise and uniqueness of the community but also help strengthen the economy and promote sustainable cultural tourism. These promotions help local products gain recognition both nationally and internationally, increasing income for the community.
