Royal Highness Princess Sirivannavari's Dark Naby-Blue Dress

Her Royal Highness Princess Sirivannavari Nariratana Rajakanya has once again demonstrated how contemporary fashion can showcase Thailand's rich textile heritage. On June 30, Her Royal Highness wore a dress that combined modern tailoring with the timeless beauty of traditional Thai weaving, presenting a seamless blend of innovation and craftsmanship.

The design paired a simple, dark navy-blue jersey bodice with a skirt crafted from Thai Mudmee silk in the traditional dotted pattern. Woven using traditional tie-dye resist and hand-weaving techniques, the silk was created by the T. Chattuwan Thaisilk Weaving Group in Roi Et province. The dress was designed and tailored by Platt Pladhi under the PYVET brand, while Her Royal Highness's appearance was completed with makeup by Phuthada Phornthamchat and hairstyling by Somporn Thirin.

The ensemble illustrated how traditional Thai textiles can be reimagined through contemporary design without losing their cultural identity, presenting Thai artistry with elegance and confidence on the international stage.
