PSU Completes AI University Tour to Advance AI-Enabled Transformation

As artificial intelligence continues reshaping higher education worldwide, universities are increasingly integrating AI into teaching, research, and administration to prepare for the future.

In Thailand, Prince of Songkla University, or PSU, has taken another step toward this goal with the completion of its “PSU AI University On Tour 2026” workshop series across all five campuses.

The final sessions were recently held at Trang Campus and Hat Yai Campus, bringing together faculty members, researchers, and administrative personnel to explore practical applications of AI in their daily work.

The training programs were tailored to different professional roles. Academic staff learned how to use generative AI for content creation, intelligent tutoring, and digital learning design, while administrative personnel explored AI-powered tools for document and knowledge management to enhance efficiency and streamline operations.

Participants also received training on AI governance, ethics, and data security, including the use of dotBLUE, the university’s AI platform designed to support teaching, learning, and administrative processes.

A key highlight of the initiative was the PSU AI Best Practices Hackathon, which encouraged participants to transform newly acquired skills into practical innovations and solutions that can be implemented within their units.

University officials say the completion of the program marks another milestone in PSU’s journey toward becoming an AI-enabled university, with the aim of strengthening teaching and research while equipping staff and graduates with the skills needed to thrive in an increasingly digital world.
