Phitsanulok Advances Herbal and Health Economy with Master Plan Presentation

Phitsanulok Province has moved forward in driving its herbal and health economy by hosting a meeting to present a master plan focused on strengthening economic competitiveness through the development of targeted national conferences and exhibitions. The initiative is part of a broader project aimed at building the Northern regional economy through specialized MICE activities in the fields of
herbs, health, and wellness.

The project emphasizes collaboration among public and private sectors, educational institutions, entrepreneurs, local communities, and related networks. MICE activities are positioned as a key mechanism to create added economic value, enhance market opportunities, and support the province’s ambition to become a specialized MICE city for herbal and health industries.

Phitsanulok’s strong potential as a regional hub for administration, education, public health, and transportation, combined with its importance as a national herbal development area, underpins the initiative. The master plan is expected to increase the value of agricultural products, generate income for farmers and entrepreneurs, and ensure that economic benefits are distributed sustainably across local communities through concrete and coordinated implementation
