OTOP City 2025 is organised by the Department of Community Development, Ministry of Interior, under the theme “Heaven’s Gift: A Legacy of Giving – A Gift from the Heavens, Sustaining Value for the People.” The event is designed to promote OTOP products nationwide, strengthen grassroots economic development, generate employment, create sustainable careers, and reduce social inequality. It also pays tribute to the gracious contributions of Her Majesty Queen Sirikit The Queen Mother, who has long been regarded as a “light from the heavens” for revitalising Thai wisdom and elevating local craftsmanship into assets of enduring economic and cultural value.
The event is held from 20–28 December 2025, between 10.00 a.m. and 9.00 p.m., at Challenger Halls 1–3, IMPACT Muang Thong Thani. Throughout the nine-day showcase, visitors can experience a comprehensive marketplace that brings together the finest local products and innovations from communities across Thailand.
More than 2,500 carefully selected OTOP entrepreneurs are participating in OTOP City 2025, offering high-quality products rated three to five stars. The event is expected to generate no less than 700 million baht in revenue, providing a significant boost to local economies and reinforcing the role of community-based enterprises as a key driver of national economic stability.
In addition to product sales, OTOP City 2025 features exhibitions and showcases that highlight the integration of science, technology and innovation to enhance the competitiveness of community entrepreneurs. Products on display include food and beverages, cosmetics, herbal products, textiles, apparel, and advanced production technologies. These innovations are presented through collaboration with partner networks, including the Agricultural Research Development Agency (Public Organization) and a consortium of universities.
By combining traditional wisdom with modern innovation, OTOP City 2025 offers a platform that not only celebrates Thai identity and craftsmanship, but also equips local entrepreneurs with practical tools to expand their market reach. The event reflects a long-term commitment to inclusive growth, sustainable development, and the empowerment of communities across Thailand.
