Medical Treatment in Thailand: What Foreigners Need to Prepare

  1. Initial Contact
    Contact the hospital of choice via phone or email.
  2. Necessary Documentation
    Passport
    Medical history/referral letter from the previous hospital
    Blood test results and X-rays (if available)
    Surgical history or pathology reports
  3. Patient Registration
    Present your passport and relevant documents at the patient registration counter to receive a patient ID card.
  4. Consultation
    Meet with a doctor for diagnosis and treatment planning.
  5. Start of Treatment
    Patients will receive an appointment card with the next steps for treatment.
