The Pattaya Tattoo Festival was organized by the Bamboo & Tattoo Pattaya Artist Group, consisting of local artists from Pattaya, with the main sponsors being Pattaya City, Pattaya Tourism, Royal Garden Plaza Pattaya, and the Pattaya Tattoo Artist Club.
The event showcased 14 categories in total, including competition categories that encompassed Bamboo Tattoos of unlimited size, Yantra Bamboo Tattoos, and Amulet Thai Tattoos of unlimited size. The Tattoo Machine competition categories included Small Job Black & Gray Tattoos not exceeding 128 X 120 centimeters, Small Job Color Tattoos not exceeding 12 X 12 centimeters, New School Tattoos of unlimited size, Old School Tattoos of unlimited size, Black Work - Tribal Tattoos of unlimited size, Japanese Style Tattoos of unlimited size, Big Job Black & Gray Tattoos of unlimited size, Big Job Color Tattoos of unlimited size, and Realistic Tattoos of unlimited size.
