Eight Key Projects of the “Virtue Center” that Cultivate Values and Culture

     The “Virtue Center” has the mission to drive and support the promotion of social network virtues in line with the national strategy, master plan, and other related plans, through the moral assembly process, the development and dissemination of knowledge campaigns, moral standards, and certification processes, by virtue of its being an ethical promotion organization and information center for the development of network virtues.

     The Board of Directors of the Moral Center have resolved to propose eight major projects for the Virtue Center in 2023, according to the Office of the National Economic and Social Development Council. Furthermore, the relevant government agencies are asked to consider reviewing the final value chain in Thailand in the main projects of 2022 and implementing them in the fiscal year 2023; the purpose is to determine how it may affect the achievement of the sub-prime plans, goals, master plans, issues and goals of the master plan under the national strategy during the second period between 2023-2027.

The eight ongoing projects are as follows, divided into three groups:

  1. Project to promote the development of moral standards in organizations;
  2. Thai Behavioral Systems Innovation Project;
  3. Moral Assembly Project.

Five other projects are included, with two projects under the responsibility of the main agency:

  1. Social Credit System;
  2. Promotion and Expansion of Moral Model Individuals and Organizations.

The three remaining projects supported by the agency are as follows:

  1. Positive Morality Family Project;
  2. Empowerment Project for Campaigners to Communicate Morality;
  3. Communication Project to Strengthen Morality of Thai Society.

     The new project proposed as the supportive agency is the introduction of knowledge and innovation to support organizations, such as (1) the positive moral family project, by working with the Ministry of Social Development and Human Security, (2) the moral communication campaigner capacity-building project using the moral media curriculum, expanding the journalist base and advocating for the broader promotion of moral ethics, and (3) the communication project to strengthen the morality of Thai society, integrating with relevant agencies, resulting in more areas of moral media.

     New major projects involving the development of social credit mechanisms, which are one of the major activities under the country's cultural reform plan, which require cooperation from academic and network mechanisms in different areas and agencies; the two mechanisms drive both content and structure to create central databases and develop systematic and concrete implementations.

     Another project promotes and expands the work of individuals and model organizations on morality based on the mission of the center to continuously carry out and develop activities. The latest project has been organized to create morality media in 2020, which has received the attention of nine different types of media submitted for consideration.

     Eight significant projects are in line with the master plan on modifying values and cultures and addressing the drive for reform activities that will result in substantial changes to the public (Big Rock). The Cultural Sub-Committee under the Reform Committee on Culture, Sports, Labor, and Human Resource Development is currently working on this project.
