Procedures for Registration of Aquatic Animal Carcass Storage Facilities

Regarding registration of storage facilities for aquatic animal carcasses, there are steps and time periods, as follows:

  1. Verification of completeness of documents. The applicant submits a request form to a staff member for certification of the storage facility, together with the evidence. Then, the official examines the request form for the certification of the facility, ) together with the evidence documents. The Department of Fisheries should take 1 working day for this step.
  2. The staff submits the documents to the auditors. The auditors make an appointment for the audit date, and the auditors prepare documents for the actual site assessment, taking 10 working days.
  3. The audit team inspects the storage facilities, and the audit team prepares the assessment form. The Department of Fisheries takes 1 working day to do this.
  4. The audit team summarizes the audit results, fills in the report form of the facility, and sends evidence documents and assessment results for the working group, taking about 3 working days.
  5. The working group conducts a meeting to consider the audit results, summarizes the results of the evaluation results, and prepare a summary of the results of the inspection of the facility certification form and a letter notifying the results of the certification form, which are proposed to the chairman of the working group to sign. The Department of Fisheries takes 10 working days to complete these steps.
  6. The working group chairman signs a summary of the results of the inspection of the storage facility certification form and a letter specifying the results of the certification of the facility.
  7. The working group prepares the certificate and asks an authorized person to sign the certificate. This process takes 3 working days.
  8. An authorized person signs the certificate for the aquatic animal carcass storage facility.
