The "unseen" aspect of "Pha Kho" emerged from the discovery by locals who ventured into the forest and found various beautifully shaped forest rocks. Hence the name "Pha Kho" (literally means "Neck Cliff") because the peak of the rocks in this area resembles a human neck. This place also features rock carvings, scrapings, and prehistoric human traces, along with bizarrely beautiful natural stone sculptures.
The characteristic of Pha Kho includes natural sculptures of huge red sandstone, approximately 15-16 meters wide at the base and about 35-40 meters high. The rocks rise above the treetops and, when viewed from the top of the cliff, the Neck Cliff stands distinctly above the woodland, and one can see a spot where light pierces through a circular hole quite clearly.
Additionally, the stone in some areas has a four-sided, triangular tall shape. The surface of the rock has been eroded and weathered by rain and wind over time, creating an uneven texture. It bears a striking resemblance to the Buddhist stupa in India, standing prominently on the edge of a steep cliff.
