The International Academic Conference: Prince Mahidol Award 2024 (PMAC 2024)

Raising the standard of medicine and public health, the International Academic Conference Prince Mahidol Award 2024, or PMAC 2024, focuses on geopolitics and health equity in an era of conflict. Thailand aims to be recognized as a global center of academic excellence in the fields of medicine and public health. As such, the Ministry of Public Health organizes the International Academic Conference Prince Mahidol Award annually to promote the prestige of the Prince Mahidol Award on a global scale. The 2024 conference (Prince Mahidol Award Conference: PMAC 2024) will concentrate on real-world impacts on global health development and problem-solving. PMAC 2024 will be held from January 22nd to 27th, 2024, under the theme "Geopolitics and Health Equity in an Era of Polycrises".

The International Academic Conference Prince Mahidol Award is a collaborative effort involving the Annual Prince Mahidol Award International Conference Committee, including the Faculty of Medicine Siriraj Hospital of Mahidol University, the Faculty of Medicine Ramathibodi Hospital of Mahidol University, the National Health Security Office, and representatives from foreign agencies co-organizing the PMAC 2024, such as the World Health Organization, the World Bank, the United States Agency for International Development (USAID), the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA), The Rockefeller Foundation, and Chatham House.
