After the unraveling of the Covid-19 situation, the Ministry of Tourism and Sports decided it would be a good opportunity to launch the “Ease of Traveling” system to help facilitate travel and reduce the procedures for foreign tourists who will travel to Thailand.
The Ease of Traveling system is an E-Service on the Entry Thailand website (https://www.entrythailand.go.th/en/), which was developed by the Ministry of Tourism and Sports in collaboration with other relevant agencies, such as the Department of Disease Control, the Ministry of Digital Economy and Social, the Immigration Office of Thailand, Thai Airport Public Company Limited, the Tourist Police Headquarters, and the Revenue Department. It is the only website that presents the complete travel process in and out of the Kingdom of Thailand, by gathering links to websites and important information, linking various systems together, such as requesting a travel certificate in Thailand (Thailand PASS system), purchasing health insurance, making reservations, including hotel reservations, SHA+ (Safety and Health Administration PLUS), and requesting a vaccination for 2019. In addition, it is possible to request visas through the website and transfer fees to request documents, evidence, and payments to enter the country, which will help facilitate and reduce the hassle of tourists, as well as reducing the work procedures of government agencies.
