Statement on the Agreement between the United States of America and the Islamic Republic of Iran to End the Conflict

Thailand warmly welcomes the agreement reached between the United States of America and the Islamic Republic of Iran to end the conflict in the Middle East. Thailand commends the constructive roles played by Pakistan and Oman as mediators in the negotiations, as well as the efforts of all parties concerned in pursuing dialogue and diplomacy to ease tensions.

Thailand sincerely hopes that the agreement will be fully implemented in accordance with international law and the Charter of the United Nations and contribute to strengthening mutual trust among all parties. Thailand further hopes that the agreement will lead to lasting peace and stability in the region, global economic stability, and freedom of navigation through the Strait of Hormuz.
