The Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) is celebrating another year of success with its dynamic “Amazing Thailand Passport Privileges” campaign, themed “Privilege Beyond Expectation.” This initiative has inspired international travelers to explore Thailand and spend more during the high season, while elevating the country’s reputation as a top global destination.
The program has sparked enthusiastic feedback from international visitors, fueling a wave of word-of-mouth buzz. From November 1 to December 15, 2025, over 100,000 tourists joined the “Amazing Bag” experience, enjoying handpicked Thai “Lucky Gifts” from communities across the country, inspired by the 5 Must Do in Thailand concept. Lucky participants also vied for tourism prizes worth over 1 million baht.
The activity took place at Thailand’s three major international airports: Suvarnabhumi, Don Mueang, and Phuket, drawing crowds excited by the exclusive privileges and authentic local souvenirs. The seamless online platform made accessing these benefits easy, ensuring visitors felt welcomed and valued from the moment they arrived.
TAT joined forces with tourism partners to offer international visitors discounts and special privileges in five key areas: hotels, restaurants, activities, health and wellness, and shopping. With 319 establishments nationwide participating, the program fueled more travel, boosted spending, and helped spread tourism income to communities across Thailand.
The campaign’s digital presence surpassed 100 million impressions, boosting average spending per trip and generating 4.8 billion baht in tourism revenue. TAT highlighted how these efforts not only increased tourist spending but also enriched travel experiences during Thailand’s peak season.
TAT is confident that the Amazing Thailand Passport Privileges program will inspire future tourism campaigns, add new value to the industry, and reinforce Thailand’s standing as a leading sustainable destination worldwide.
