Thailand Ready to Host SEA Games 2025, 9-20 December

Thailand, as the host of the 33rd SEA Games (SEA Games Thailand 2025), is fully prepared—at 100%. The Ministry of Tourism and Sports, together with relevant agencies, is gearing up for the final countdown before the competition, which will run from 9 to 20 December. This edition will feature 50 sports, with 574 gold medals, along with three demonstration sports and one value-added sport. It will also have the most extensive live broadcast coverage ever, with the National Broadcasting Services of Thailand (NBT) serving as the main broadcaster.

On 9 December, Kanpimook Bhuwakul "BamBam" is set to perform at the opening ceremony of the SEA Games at Rajamangala National Stadium, alongside many other Thai artists. The Sports Authority of Thailand has opened free ticket reservations for the opening ceremony through the official website, www.seagames2025.org. Updates and announcements about the Games are also available at www.seagames2025.org or on Facebook: SEA Games Thailand 2025.

SEA Games Thailand 2025 will take place from 9 to 20 December in Bangkok and Chonburi Province. The opening ceremony will be held on 9 December, and the closing ceremony on 20 December, both at Rajamangala National Stadium.
