Phu Kradueng National Park Opens for Tourism Season From October 1, 2024, to May 31, 2025.

Phu Kradueng National Park, located in Loei Province, was designated as Thailand’s second national park in 1962. The highest point, known as “Khok Moei,” stands approximately 1,316 meters above sea level. The 5.5-kilometer hiking trail to reach the peak takes about 3-5 hours. The climate is cool year-round, especially during winter when temperatures range from 0-10°C, attracting tourists to witness breathtaking sunrises and sunsets.

For the 2024-2025 tourism season, Phu Kradueng National Park is open to visitors eager to conquer Phu Kradueng’s peak from October 1, 2024, until May 31, 2025.

Park Opening Hours

  • Hours for Ascending and Descending
    • Weekdays : 06:00 a.m. - 01:00 p.m.
    • Weekends and Public Holidays : 05:30 a.m. - 01:00 p.m.

Park Entry Reservation

  • Visitor limit :
    • Advance booking – 1,400 people/day
    • Walk-ins – 600 people/day

  • Reservations for accommodation and camping sites can be made up to 60 days in advance through the Department of National Parks, Wildlife and Plant Conservation website at https://nps.dnp.go.th/reservation.php or call 0 4281 0834 / 0 4281 0833.
