The United Kingdom Partners with Thailand to Forge a "Strong Trade Partnership" Covering 20 Key Industries

Thailand, through the Ministry of Commerce, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the UK’s Department for Business and Trade to establish a "Strong Trade Partnership" covering over 20 key industries, including agriculture, food, digital, education, and tourism. The two countries also discussed the potential for a Free Trade Agreement (FTA), which would help boost trade and investment growth for both nations.

This partnership will benefit Thailand by expanding trade and investment in sectors where it has strong potential, such as processed poultry, automotive products, and parts. Additionally, it invites UK businesses to invest in Thailand’s advanced technology industries. The exchange of knowledge and innovations, particularly in areas such as sustainable development, finance, and trade, will enhance Thailand’s export capabilities and create future job opportunities.

This collaboration will not only elevate Thailand's economy but also open new doors to opportunities, fully embracing the transformations of the digital era!
